Inline Silencer-سایلنسر خطی

Hits : 2853   |

Silencers are used to reduce noise associated with internal combustion engine exhausts, high pressure gas or steam vents, compressors and fans. They attenuate and/or absorb air-born sound waves propagated in a flowing medium. These examples lead to the conclusion that a silencer allows the passage of fluid while at the same time restricting the free passage of sound. They are normally custom-designed equipment.

Inline Silencers

?Where do we use inline silencers

inline silencers are used closed systems requiring muffled in-line expansion of gaseous fluids under pressure without releasing them into the atmosphere,  e.g. they are suitable for :

venting / blowing-down into a pipe or pressure vessel
condenser injection
turbine bypass
suitable media
air & air constituents
steam
natural gas
technical gases

Advantages

Applicable when access to the interior of a noise containing enclosure is required
Low maintenance cost
No limit of operating pressure
No limit of operating temperature
No moving parts

Applications

Boiler safety valve
Gas vent
Safety valve
Start-up ejector
Steam turbine vent
